We are excited to share a sneak peak of new lines we will be carrying soon. We saw hundreds of companies exhibiting at the ABC Baby Tradeshow here in Vegas. We combed the show floor looking for new exciting products to offer our customers. From eco baby furniture, custom modern art canvas to stylish cloth diapers we saw it all! The best part was meeting the owners and designers behind the best modern brands in the world. The new generation of better design for babies is inspiring and invigorating. We love that stuff!

Here are a few teeny tiny sneakpeaks of new stuff to find at Olive and Bean:

Monte Design Group was founded when owners Ralph and Michelle Montemurro had their third child; the nursery items they had were not congruent with the modern aesthetic of their new home. Not willing to sacrifice form for function, they began developing nursery products that would offer beautiful and simple design.

Finally, a beautifully designed glider with simple lines and exceptional comfort. With its ergonomic arm height for feeding your baby, high back for proper head rest, and removable lumbar pillow for extra support, our glider provides continuous comfort. Soft durable upholstery, deep brown stained maple wood base, and smooth gliding mechanism make this the ultimate nursery chair.

The luca glider will also fit beautifully into any other room in the house. The luca glider is the essential nursery piece. From middle-of-the-night feedings to afternoon readings, our glider will become your favorite chair.

We don’t believe that bassinets should look like poufy 1980’s wedding dresses.
This streamlined and practical bassinet will keep the focus on your gorgeous new baby and show off your great sense of style! The removable basket nestles into a dark brown solid wood rocker base. The bassinet’s padded sides are covered by a removable and machine-washable suede microfiber. Includes waterproof mattress and 2 fitted sheets.

TruKid started when CEO Jennifer Adams found her children playfully applying her wrinkle cream. She realized she hadn’t found anything suitable on the market for her children’s young skin. She decided to launch her own skincare line and along the way found out about all of the awful things found in mainstream lines. Parabens, Phthalates, avobenzone and oxybenzone (both found in sunscreen), just to name a few, were found to potentially cause cancer, birth defects and neuro-damage. Jennifer decided that her products were going to be a safer alternative using natural fragrances made from essential oils and ingredients that are better for tender skin.

A little history on the baby hammock…

While the exact origin of the hammock is unknown, it is widely believed that the hammock was born out of necessity over 800 years ago in Pre-Columbian Latin America. The Mayans knew the hammock was an ideal sleep system for infants.

The secure design wraps around the baby simulating the experience in the womb and the rhythmic swaying comforts and calms infants. The baby hammock has proven to provide relief for colic, reflux, short nappers and restless sleepers.

Baby hammocks are also known to provide health benefits for premature babies and reduce the risk of smothering and SIDS by ensuring baby sleeps on his or her back as doctors recommend in the first critical year.

We are thrilled to be the only boutique in Las Vegas that offers the Hushamok Baby Hammock ! We currently have natural in stock and can special order other colors. It is recommended that you use your Hushamok until baby is about 22 lbs. The hammock comes with a carry tote for traveling, the whole thing is just over 20 lbs… not bad!

“Tea is guided by an awe and respect for the beauty found in cultures around the world. We are drawn to the unexpected ways in which beauty inhabits a culture—its colors, shapes, sounds and movements, from raw to refined. Each season, our design team travels to a new global region to find inspiration for our Collection. They have brought us colors, textiles, and influences from regions throughout the globe including the Mediterranean, Peru, and Tibet.”
